| Brookfield Zoo
If it seems like you stumble upon some of the animals, it's because Brookfield Zoo does such a great job re-creating natural habitats. Two million people each year visit the zoo, which opened in 1934. For families and teachers, colorful information displays are a fun way to learn about the need to protect wildlife, and friendly volunteers and staff members answer questions knowledgeably.

| Chicago's First Lady Cruise Boat
Beginning at Michigan Avenue, Chicago's First Lady (or Little Lady) gets underway in the shadows of the Wrigley building and Marina City, then winds its way down the main branch and south branch of the Chicago River. Along the 90-minute tour, more than 50 buildings are discussed by the tour guide, a Chicago Architecture Foundation volunteer. The outstanding views make the river a great setting for viewing and analyzing. Add in cool breezes and refreshing air, and you have an experience no double-decker bus can rival.

The Exit is one of the hottest clubs in Chicago. Friends and you can come here to just hang out and have fun either by dancing or just drinking the night away. You must be 21 or older since there is alcohol being sold here. Sometimes Fake Id's can get an underaged person in.

| Grant Park
Named for General Ulysses S. Grant, this 319-acre park is the chosen location for civic events big enough to accommodate the entire city of Chicago. Though it's bordered on two sides by towering skyscrapers, quiet and solitude reign after only a few steps in the park--unless, of course, you happen to be there during Taste of Chicago, when solace gives way to mouthwatering mayhem.

| Music Box Theatre
Built in 1929, the theater's distinctive jazz-age look draws upon Italian, Spanish and American influences. The "night sky" ceiling of moving clouds and other elaborate decor make the 750-seat main auditorium a visual delight. In addition to visiting film festivals, the weekend matinee series highlights Hollywood classics and documentaries. Those seeking the offbeat should check out the Friday and Saturday midnight screenings, which include everything from 1970s exploitation fare to animated adult features.

| Navy Pier
Opened in 1916 as a shipping facility and recreation spot, Navy Pier has evolved into one of Chicago's top family and tourist destinations. Some of the attractions include the three-story Chicago Children's Museum and live entertainment on the Skyline Stage. Amazing Chicago is a life-sized maze that's part history and mostly fun, with mirrored corridors and twisted tunnels that depict Chicago scenes. When visitors are ready for refueling, they'll find everything from fine dining to food-court fare. And no visit to the Pier is complete without a spin on the 150-foot-high Ferris wheel with its great views of the skyline and lake.

| Riviera Theatre
The Riviera Theater, also a popular music venue, was once a Jazz Age movie palace which featured live jazz performances with the movies. In the 1970s, the seats were removed on the main floor and it was converted to a concert venue. Which right now shows both movies and concerts. But the best thing with the movies is that you bring your own blankets and you get to watch the movie close to ones close to you.

The Sears Tower stands 1,450 feet tall, 110 floors high. On a clear day, viewers can see four states. Don't get dizzy--the average sway is six inches from the center. The Guest Relations Team often goes out of its way to be helpful and informative.

| Uptown Theatre
The Uptown Theatre is a massive, ornate movie palace in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Designed by Rapp and Rapp, it was constructed in 1925 for the Balaban and Katz theater chain. The largest in Chicago, it boasts 4,381 seats and its interior size (volume) is said to be larger than any other movie palace in the United States.

In 1975 Woodfield was the world's largest shopping center, but since then the title has been surrendered.
